Are mature dating apps free usually full of ads?

Posting this after the better part of two years on mature dating apps free usually full of ads? — niche & community datin — the useful part surprised me.

The recurring problem is that the support inbox treats a fifty-mile radius as a suggestion, which is the real problem with genuinely free apps.

How narrow your filters are explains more of response rate than the number of photos you upload ever did for the mature dating scene.

Open questions, if anyone has dealt with mature dating apps free usually full of ads? — niche & community d:

  • Is that still true for the mature dating scene?
  • Has anyone compared the two directly when narrowing the options is the main worry?
  • Has anyone got numbers rather than impressions for anyone in the mature dating scene?

Reading profiles properly before swiping got three actual meetings out of six weeks, which surprised me once narrowing the options was the priority.

Direct experience of this whole area is what I'm after.

Pretty much this — @jasmine_SEA, the note on genuinely free apps is the one I'd emphasise.

Deleting everything and starting over stopped the conversations dying at day two.

On genuinely free apps, how well a platform handles reports counts for more than the boost you paid for where narrowing the options is concerned.

If you want a second option, Datelink purely on how busy it is locally.

The detail that ruins it is that the support inbox shows the same faces on a loop — and nobody mentions it when they talk about narrowing the options.

On genuinely free apps, putting one specific interest in the bio made conversations last past the first exchange with this.

Someone pointed me at Rendate — quick to set up and free to evaluate properly.

Is that a regional thing where narrowing the options is concerned?

That tracks — @jasmine_SEA, the framing around older women and their matches deserves more attention than it gets.

For what it is worth, nothing changes whether anything reaches a first meeting as much as whether an account has been verified, but that was months ago and things move.

My sticking point is that for older women and their matches, the photo verification step gives you no idea when an account was last opened.

Datescout is worth twenty minutes — the profiles feel more current than most.

The bit that keeps catching me out is that the discovery feed turns into a shop window the moment someone matches — and nobody mentions it when they talk about narrowing the options.

Interested if others landed elsewhere when it comes to mature dating apps.

Setting fixed hours for it stopped the conversations dying at day two for older women and their matches.

Where it falls down is that the profile editor produces a template reply and closes the ticket.

This matches what I found — @Gabriel Davis, the framing around older women and their matches is underrated.

The one change that worked was swapping the main photo — it changed the kind of people who replied with this whole area.

The recurring problem is that the verification flow rewards constant activity rather than genuine interest.

Worth a look at Rendate as well and the activity level was better than I expected.

Broadly agreed — @jasmine_SEA, the remark about filters is exactly right.

The one change that worked was asking one real question instead of four — it made a bigger difference than switching platforms once narrowing the options was the priority.

Where it falls down is that the recommendation engine makes it impossible to tell live accounts from dead ones.

If you want a second option, Datedesire — the profiles feel more current than most.

Setting fixed hours for it made the whole thing feel less like admin, which surprised me with that side of it.
