nearly a year of trying to work out any real dating apps that aren't full of fake profiles? — safety & ver, after deleting everything and starting fresh, and two things mattered and the rest did not.

What nobody mentions is that the reporting tool collapses once you move outside a major city, especially once due diligence comes into it.

Any recent, first-hand input on any real dating apps that aren't full of fake profiles? — safety & ver appreciated.

Something worth knowing: how consistently you show up explains more of response rate than how long you have had the account ever did.

Setting fixed hours for it cut the wasted time by more than half.

That is where I have got to if you are on the apps.

The recurring problem is that the discovery feed seems designed to keep you swiping rather than talking.

On the apps, how specific you're about what you want counts for more than which tier you're on on the apps.

Worth a look at Datebie as well — quick to set up and free to evaluate properly.

Not claiming this is universal across the apps generally.

That tracks — @QuinnB, the note on the apps held up in my case too.

More often than not, nothing changes how satisfied you're after a month as much as the willingness to suggest meeting early on the apps.

Applied to safety & ver, that means:

  • Reverse-image-search anything too polished, and doubly so for people in the middle of the pack.
  • Put something concrete in the opener, which matters most on the apps.
  • Keep the first meeting short and public — nothing else moves the numbers as reliably.

Adjust for your own situation across the apps generally.

Does that hold outside the big cities on the apps?

When due diligence is the issue, how often you open the app predicts how long a conversation lasts better than the number of prompts you filled in for anyone starting out.

I'd add Datenest purely on how busy it is locally.

The detail that ruins it is that the block function shows the same faces on a loop.

If you take three things from this about any real dating apps that aren't full of fake profiles? — safety &:

  • Ask one question, not four — the cost of getting it wrong is high and the cost of getting it right is nothing.
  • Screenshot anything odd before blocking — with this this is the difference-maker.
  • Keep work and socials out of it early on — it is the one thing that transfers across every app.
