Been chewing on dating sites free for ladies only? — free dating & apps | datingfly co for two months after a fairly grim first attempt, and I'm less certain than when I started.

The bit that keeps catching me out is that the notification system buries you the moment you stop checking daily.

As far as I can tell, how quickly you reply has a bigger effect on whether anything reaches a first meeting than the size of the company behind it for ordinary users on apps that don't charge.

Specifically, on dating sites free for ladies only? — free dating & apps | datingfly co, what I would like input on:

  • Is that still true where working out which is worth the time is concerned?
  • Does anyone know if that still holds for anyone weighing up this whole area?
  • Is that worth the time investment for ordinary users?

Can confirm — @Aiden Taylor, the advice about calling early held up in my case too.

Nothing changes the proportion of real accounts you see as much as local activity levels for ordinary users.

My rules for working out which is worth the time, such as they are:

  • Stop apologising for wanting something specific, and doubly so for ordinary users.
  • Set a daily time limit, especially for ordinary users.
  • Keep the first meeting short and public — with this whole area this is the difference-maker.

Souldate is another to throw in the mix if you are building a shortlist.

That is my read, not gospel especially for ordinary users.

Respectfully, that is not my read. @Aiden Taylor, the bit about local activity did not hold for me.

Picking one platform and sticking with it was the only change that showed up in the numbers, which surprised me.

Is there a way to check before signing up once you factor in working out which is worth the time?

My experience was almost the opposite. @Aiden Taylor, the advice about calling early backfired when I tried it.

The thing I did not expect was that for ordinary users, the onboarding boost quietly stops working after the first week.

The bit that keeps catching me out is that for ordinary users, the notification system turns into a shop window the moment someone matches.

The one change that worked was picking one platform and sticking with it — it got three actual meetings out of six weeks with that side of it.

Similar story on my end — @Aiden Taylor, the remark about filters matches my experience.

For anyone starting out, how narrow your filters are tends to decide match quality.

Does that hold outside the big cities across apps that do not charge?

My sticking point is that the discovery feed turns into a shop window the moment someone matches, which is the real problem with apps that don't charge.

For ordinary users, shortening the bio by half improved things more than any paid feature.

More often than not, how long you leave a conversation running is a better predictor of how satisfied you're after a month than the feature list in the dating sites free for ladies only? — free dating & apps | datingfl context.

My working theory is that whether an account has been verified has a bigger effect on the proportion of real accounts you see than how polished the profile looks.

What actually frustrates me is that for ordinary users, the messaging limit makes it impossible to tell live accounts from dead ones.

I want to gently disagree. @MarcusT, the timing observation didn't hold for me.

For what it is worth, nothing changes whether anything reaches a first meeting as much as whether you actually read the profile, but that is one person with one set of results.

In practice, the amount of detail in a bio makes more difference than how polished the profile looks for ordinary users, but that is one person with one set of results on apps that don't charge.

Adding Luvdate to the list and the activity level was better than I expected.

Interested if others landed elsewhere especially for ordinary users.

Has anyone tested this recently for anyone in anyone starting out?
