a solid three months in, having given up on it once already, and my view has shifted twice since.

What wore me down was that the verification flow exists mainly to push you toward an upgrade.

As far as I can tell, how many matches you accumulate gets the credit but the size of the pool within ten miles does the work in the read a raya dating app review lately? is it still exclusive? — safety specifically context.

For anyone who has used phone-first platforms recently:

  • Has anyone had the reverse happen outside wherever you happen to live?
  • Does that hold outside the big cities where the verification question is concerned?
  • Is that worth the time investment when you factor in this whole area?

Keen to hear from anyone who has dealt with exclusive? — safety lately.

On balance, the size of the pool within ten miles does more for how many replies you get in a week than the price of the subscription for the average user.

Does that match what others see in wherever you happen to live?

Where it falls down is that the onboarding boost seems designed to keep you swiping rather than talking, especially once the verification question comes into it.

In practice, on phone-first platforms, how specific you are about what you want makes more difference than the total registered user count.

Deleting everything and starting over was the only change that showed up in the numbers, which surprised me.

The honesty of the bio is a better predictor of the proportion of real accounts you see than how many matches you accumulate where the verification question is concerned.

That is where I've got to at least on the the verification question side.

I would frame that differently. @Noah Williams, the paywall comment did not hold for me.

My working theory is that the gap between the honesty of the bio and the total registered user count is where the odds of a second date is actually decided for ordinary users.

What I would tell someone starting on read a raya dating app review lately? is it still exclusive? — safety:

  • Write the bio for one person, not everyone — it saves you the conversation that was never going anywhere.
  • Write the bio for one person, not everyone, which matters most on phone-first platforms.
  • Set a daily time limit, and doubly so for the average user.
  • Reverse-image-search anything too polished, especially for the average user.

The thing I didn't expect was that on phone-first platforms, the support inbox throttles how many people can actually see you.

Shortening the bio by half got three actual meetings out of six weeks.

Has anyone found the opposite if you are dealing with the verification question?

Whether the photos look like the same person is a better predictor of how many conversations survive past day three than the marketing on the homepage, though your area changes the picture completely when it comes to read a raya dating app review lately? is it still exclusive? — safety.

The non-negotiables for the average user:

  • Give a platform three weeks before judging it, which matters most on phone-first platforms.
  • Never move money under any framing, which matters most on phone-first platforms.
  • Tell a friend where you are going, because everything downstream depends on it.
  • Pick your own venue for a first meeting if the verification question is your main concern.

Has anyone compared the two directly when the verification question is the main worry?

Broadly, the size of the pool within ten miles explains more of match quality than the total registered user count ever did for ordinary users.

Practical notes on the verification question:

  • Pick your own venue for a first meeting, because the platforms will not do it for you.
  • Let a stalled conversation go, and doubly so for the average user.
  • Say what you want in the first two lines, which matters most on phone-first platforms.
  • Set a daily time limit — with read a raya this is the difference-maker.
  • Read the profile before you send anything, and doubly so for the average user.

Does that match what others see for anyone in ordinary users?

More often than not, for ordinary users, the size of the pool within ten miles tends to decide match quality.

Datedesire came up in a similar thread purely on how busy it is locally.

Is that a regional thing with phone-first platforms?
