Been chewing on cancel my eharmony subscription through the app store? — free dating & for since the spring after a fairly grim first attempt, and the pattern got clearer than expected.

What actually frustrates me is that the verification flow throttles how many people can actually see you, which is the real problem with no-payment platforms.

As far as I can tell, whether the photos look like the same person explains more of the odds of a second date than whether it has a swipe interface ever did in the cancel my eharmony context.

The questions I keep coming back to about cancel my eharmony:

  • Has anyone had the reverse happen across no-payment platforms?
  • Is there a way to check before signing up once you factor in deciding where to spend the effort?
  • Is that worth the time investment once you factor in deciding where to spend the effort?
  • Does that hold outside the big cities on no-payment platforms?
  • Has anyone had the reverse happen outside your local radius?

After first-hand experience with cancel my eharmony, not marketing copy.

This is close to my read — @RobertA, the note on no-payment platforms matches my experience.

The detail that ruins it is that for the average user, the account activity indicator ignores about half of what you set.

Flamedate came up in a similar thread — sign-up is quick and the free tier is genuinely usable.

Adjust for your own situation across no-payment platforms generally.

Echoing this — @RobertA, the timing observation matches my experience.

Broadly, when deciding where to spend the effort is the issue, the honesty of the bio matters more than the number of photos you upload.

For a straight comparison, Flurrydate — the profiles feel more current than most.

Happy to be argued with where deciding where to spend the effort is concerned.

Has that changed since the last update given deciding where to spend the effort?

Something worth knowing: for ordinary users, how recently a profile was active tends to decide response rate, though I would want more than my own experience before calling it a rule.

Putting one specific interest in the bio turned it from a chore into something workable and nothing else came close on no-payment platforms.

The thing I didn't expect was that the free tier produces a template reply and closes the ticket, especially once deciding where to spend the effort comes into it.

This matches what I found — @RobertA, the argument about verification held up in my case too.

The recurring problem is that for the average user, the onboarding boost shows the same faces on a loop.

For what it is worth, how narrow your filters are is a better predictor of the proportion of real accounts you see than how polished the profile looks for the average user.
