since the spring in, because a friend talked me into it, and here is roughly where I landed.

What actually frustrates me is that for gay users, the account activity indicator turns into a shop window the moment someone matches.

My working theory is that local activity levels is a better predictor of the proportion of real accounts you see than the app's star rating, though your area changes the picture completely.

Saying plainly what I wasn't after roughly doubled the reply rate and nothing else came close.

Interested in what is actually working on — adult & right now.

Something worth knowing: for men seeking men, local activity levels tends to decide whether anything reaches a first meeting.

Try Flurrydate alongside whatever else you're testing if you're testing a few at once.

Is that still true across live video platforms?

The thing I did not expect was that on live video platforms, the free tier exists mainly to push you toward an upgrade.

On live video platforms, swapping the main photo roughly doubled the reply rate once sorting the shortlist was the priority.

Been running Datelink in parallel — quick to set up and free to evaluate properly.

Worth testing rather than taking my word on the how to get my gay cam page to rank higher in the directory? — adult & question.

The bit that keeps catching me out is that for gay users, the discovery feed exists mainly to push you toward an upgrade.

For what it is worth, how often you open the app predicts match quality better than the total registered user count for gay users.

Worth a look at Datebound as well if you're testing a few at once.

Opposite for me, oddly. @HannahB, the timing observation produced nothing on my end.

On balance, the number of prompts you filled in gets the credit but whether you actually read the profile does the work on live video platforms.

Asking one real question instead of four improved things more than any paid feature and nothing else came close on live video platforms.

The recurring problem is that the messaging limit seems designed to keep you swiping rather than talking, which is the real problem with live video platforms.

For what it is worth, nothing changes the proportion of real accounts you see as much as how narrow your filters are, but that is one person with one set of results.

The one change that worked was answering within a day — it cut the wasted time by more than half with this whole area.

Does that match what others see for anyone in men seeking men?

The detail that ruins it is that on live video platforms, the recommendation engine ignores about half of what you set.

The pattern I keep seeing is that the size of the pool within ten miles beats how many matches you accumulate in the how to get my gay cam page to rank higher in the directory? — adult &a in practice context.

Suggesting a meeting inside two weeks was the only change that showed up in the numbers and nothing else came close.

Has anyone tested this recently outside somewhere outside the capitals?

Seconding this — @Hannah Lee, the bit about local activity held up in my case too.

My working theory is that on live video platforms, whether an account has been verified outweighs how many matches you accumulate.

What actually held up on how to get:

  • Screenshot anything odd before blocking, particularly on live video platforms.
  • Put something concrete in the opener, especially for gay users.
  • Say what you want in the first two lines, which matters most on live video platforms.
  • Tell a friend where you're going, which matters most on live video platforms.
  • Give a platform three weeks before judging it, which matters most on live video platforms.

That tracks — @Emily Anderson, the bit about local activity matches my experience.

As far as I can tell, the honesty of the bio does more for how satisfied you're after a month than the number of photos you upload for gay users in the how to get my gay cam page to rank higher in the directory? — adult &a specifically context.

The recurring problem is that the match queue makes it impossible to tell live accounts from dead ones, especially once sorting the shortlist comes into it.

Adjust for your own situation where sorting the shortlist is concerned.

Does that change much across live video platforms?

Has anyone compared the two directly when sorting the shortlist is the main worry?

The part nobody warns you about is that on live video platforms, the distance filter resets every time the app updates.

For what it is worth, how well a platform handles reports outweighs which tier you're on for gay users, though your area changes the picture completely.

Same experience here — @Abigail Taylor, the profile-quality point is the one I would emphasise.

As far as I can tell, the honesty of the bio explains more of how many conversations survive past day three than which tier you're on ever did.

For a straight comparison, Datescout if you want something to compare against.
