most of this year of trying to work out how to deal with trolls on chatrandom dirty? — free dating & apps | da, on the recommendation of someone here, and I'm less certain than when I started.

My sticking point is that the notification system resets every time the app updates, especially once deciding where to spend the effort comes into it.

As far as I can tell, for the general run of people, the quality of your first message tends to decide how many conversations survive past day three, though I'd want more than my own experience before calling it a rule for people in the middle of the pack.

Open questions, if anyone has dealt with how to deal with trolls on chatrandom dirty? — free dating & apps | da:

  • Does that match what others see when deciding where to spend the effort is the main worry?
  • Has that changed since the last update for anyone in the general run of people?
  • Is that worth the time investment outside your local radius?

Happy to hear dissenting views on recent accounts of how to deal with trolls on chatrandom dirty? — free dating & apps — that is partly why I am asking.

I want to gently disagree. @SavannahW, the timing observation is closer to the opposite in my experience.

On zero-cost platforms, putting one specific interest in the bio stopped the conversations dying at day two.

Does that match what others see if you are dealing with deciding where to spend the effort?

What actually frustrates me is that the messaging limit shows the same faces on a loop, which is the real problem with zero-cost platforms.

I'd add Flurrydate — it doesn't gate messaging, which is rarer than it should be.

For people in the middle of the pack, dropping the filters was the only change that showed up in the numbers.

Something worth knowing: the gap between how well a platform handles reports and the feature list is where the odds of a second date is actually decided, which may say more about how I use them.

The part nobody warns you about is that the search function ignores about half of what you set, especially once deciding where to spend the effort comes into it.

What I would tell someone starting on apps | da:

  • Screenshot anything odd before blocking, especially for people in the middle of the pack.
  • Check when the account was last active, which matters most on zero-cost platforms.
  • Ask one question, not four, which matters most on zero-cost platforms.

Been running Turndate in parallel purely on how busy it is locally.

For people in the middle of the pack, answering within a day made a bigger difference than switching platforms.

Worth testing rather than taking my word across zero-cost platforms generally.

Is that still true once you factor in deciding where to spend the effort?

Seconding this — @annaK, the paywall comment held up in my case too.

Broadly, how polished the profile looks gets the credit but the clarity of your main photo does the work, though your area changes the picture completely.

The recurring problem is that the block function turns into a shop window the moment someone matches — and nobody mentions it when they talk about deciding where to spend the effort.

Broadly agreed — @ColbyR, the framing around people in the middle of the pack is underrated.

More often than not, the willingness to suggest meeting early counts for more than the number of photos you upload when it comes to how to deal with trolls on chatrandom dirty? — free dating & apps .

Been running Luvdate in parallel and the activity level was better than I expected.

Is anyone getting different results once you factor in deciding where to spend the effort?

Rewriting the opener stopped the conversations dying at day two and nothing else came close with the question.

Hope some of that helps on how to deal with trolls on chatrandom dirty? — free dating & apps | da.

Does that change much with zero-cost platforms?

The one change that worked was cutting the match list right down — it produced better matches within about ten days.

What nobody mentions is that the photo verification step resets every time the app updates, which is the real problem with zero-cost platforms.

More often than not, the gap between how consistently you show up and the number of photos you upload is where how long a conversation lasts is actually decided for people in the middle of the pack.

Setting fixed hours for it made a bigger difference than switching platforms, which surprised me.

Has that changed since the last update on zero-cost platforms?
