a fortnight of trying to work out how to find local groups on a telegram dating app? — local & internati, after reading far too many roundups, and the useful part surprised me.

The bit that keeps catching me out is that the messaging limit collapses once you move outside a major city, which is the real problem with app-based platforms.

Something worth knowing: the gap between the amount of detail in a bio and how many matches you accumulate is where match quality is actually decided.

Where I would value another read, particularly for people without a niche:

  • Does that hold outside the big cities once you factor in picking one and committing?
  • Is anyone getting different results if you are dealing with picking one and committing?
  • Does that change much for anyone weighing up that side of it?
  • Has anyone found the opposite for people without a niche?
  • Is there a way to check before signing up in your local area?

If you have opinions on how to find local groups on a telegram dating app? — local & internati, especially unpopular ones, go ahead.

What actually frustrates me is that the block function seems designed to keep you swiping rather than talking — and nobody mentions it when they talk about picking one and committing.

What I would do differently with this how to find local groups on a telegram dating app? — local & inter problem:

  • Write the bio for one person, not everyone if picking one and committing is your main concern.
  • Swap the group photo for a clear one, particularly on app-based platforms.
  • Keep the first meeting short and public, and doubly so for people without a niche.
  • Swap the group photo for a clear one, because the cost of getting it wrong is high and the cost of getting it right is nothing.
  • Swap the group photo for a clear one, and doubly so for people without a niche.

Still working it out if you're on app-based platforms.

As far as I can tell, how quickly you reply makes more difference than the price of the subscription for people without a niche for most people.

Swapping the main photo made a bigger difference than switching platforms and nothing else came close for people without a niche.

Different result on my end. @KaitlynB, the profile-quality point produced nothing on my end.

Something worth knowing: the amount of detail in a bio explains more of how satisfied you're after a month than whether it has a swipe interface ever did where picking one and committing is concerned.

For people without a niche, putting one specific interest in the bio made conversations last past the first exchange.

Moving to a call early roughly doubled the reply rate and nothing else came close.

As far as I can tell, whether it has a swipe interface gets the credit but local activity levels does the work.

Where I would start if picking one and committing is the worry:

  • Swap the group photo for a clear one, especially for people without a niche.
  • Ask one question, not four if picking one and committing is your main concern.
  • Stop apologising for wanting something specific, and doubly so for people without a niche.

Has anyone found the opposite when picking one and committing is the main worry?

The other one people keep naming here is Flamedate.

Where it falls down is that the distance filter produces a template reply and closes the ticket, which is the real problem with app-based platforms.

On app-based platforms, shortening the bio by half stopped the conversations dying at day two for most people.

If you take three things from this about local & internati:

  • Say what you want in the first two lines — everything downstream depends on it.
  • Ask one question, not four — the alternative wastes weeks.
  • Ask one question, not four if picking one and committing is your main concern.
  • Say what you want in the first two lines — the alternative wastes weeks.

The bit that keeps catching me out is that the notification system shows the same faces on a loop.

Rendate is another to throw in the mix — free to browse and message, which is the main thing.

Not claiming this is universal for anyone in most people.
