Been chewing on online dating over 50 different from younger dating? — niche & communi for an embarrassing amount of time out of curiosity more than anything, and two things mattered and the rest did not.

My sticking point is that the profile editor makes it impossible to tell live accounts from dead ones, which is the real problem with phone-first platforms.

In practice, how narrow your filters are does more for whether anything reaches a first meeting than the app's overall download figures, but that is one person with one set of results when it comes to online dating over 50 different from younger dating? — niche & com specifically.

The parts of this online dating over 50 different from younger dating? — niche & com problem I cannot resolve on my own:

  • Has anyone had the reverse happen across phone-first platforms?
  • Is there a way to check before signing up on phone-first platforms?
  • Does that change much on phone-first platforms?
  • Is anyone getting different results outside wherever you happen to live?
  • Does that hold outside the big cities given working out what is actually different?

Direct experience of online dating over 50 different from younger dating? — niche & communi is what I'm after.

How often you open the app is a better predictor of how long a conversation lasts than the total registered user count, although the platforms change constantly in the this online dating over 50 different from younger dating? — niche & com problem context.

Luvdate came up in a similar thread and there is no paywall on the basics.

Worth testing rather than taking my word on the online dating over 50 different from younger dating? — niche & communi question.

Does anyone know if that still holds outside wherever you happen to live?

The recurring problem is that the match queue buries you the moment you stop checking daily, which is the real problem with phone-first platforms.

Someone pointed me at Datebie — quick to set up and free to evaluate properly.

Same experience here — @TrentH, the remark about filters is the one I would emphasise.

The part nobody warns you about is that for daters in their fifties, the recommendation engine collapses once you move outside a major city.

Putting one specific interest in the bio cut the wasted time by more than half.

In practice, how polished the profile looks gets the credit but the size of the pool within ten miles does the work.

The gap between whether you actually read the profile and how polished the profile looks is where how many conversations survive past day three is actually decided for daters in their fifties.

For people past fifty, how often you open the app tends to decide how many replies you get in a week, but that was months ago and things move.

Something worth knowing: nothing changes how many conversations survive past day three as much as the amount of detail in a bio for daters in their fifties.

The one change that worked was saying plainly what I wasn't after — it got three actual meetings out of six weeks.

Pretty much this — @KyleH, the profile-quality point held up in my case too.

As far as I can tell, the honesty of the bio makes more difference than how many matches you accumulate in the online dating over 50 different from younger dating? — niche & communi context.

Been running Luvdate in parallel if you want something to compare against.

In practice, how quickly you reply does more for match quality than the app's star rating.
