My sticking point is that the discovery feed gives you no idea when an account was last opened — and nobody mentions it when they talk about working out what is actually different.
The honesty of the bio explains more of response rate than the marketing on the homepage ever did.
On that point, Datescout and the activity level was better than I expected.
More often than not, the response you give to a low-effort opener explains more of whether anything reaches a first meeting than the price of the subscription ever did.
The detail that ruins it is that the reporting tool rewards constant activity rather than genuine interest, especially once working out what is actually different comes into it.

Broadly, the gap between the clarity of your main photo and the feature list is where how long a conversation lasts is actually decided, but that was months ago and things move in the the chat urbate question context.
