I started looking at bumble bee dating app just another name for bumble? — free dating & ap longer than I'd like to admit ago on the recommendation of someone here, and I still don't have a clean answer.

What actually frustrates me is that the onboarding boost ignores about half of what you set, especially once narrowing the options comes into it.

Where I would value another read, particularly for ordinary users:

  • Is there a way to check before signing up with apps that do not charge?
  • Would that apply in a smaller town once you factor in narrowing the options?
  • Is that still true given narrowing the options?
  • Has anyone tested this recently for anyone weighing up bumble bee dating app just another name for bumble? — free dating & ap?

If you have opinions on bumble bee dating app just another name for bumble? — free dating &, especially unpopular ones, go ahead.

Strongly agree — @DrewS, the argument about verification is exactly right.

On apps that don't charge, setting fixed hours for it was the only change that showed up in the numbers on apps that don't charge.

My working theory is that on apps that do not charge, how long you leave a conversation running makes more difference than the boost you paid for.

Someone pointed me at Datescout — quick to set up and free to evaluate properly.

Happy to be argued with at least on the narrowing the options side.

Has anyone tested this recently for the broad user base?

My working theory is that nothing changes how long a conversation lasts as much as the honesty of the bio.

Answering within a day made the whole thing feel less like admin.

Souldate is worth twenty minutes — the profiles feel more current than most.

Pretty much this — @DrewS, the timing observation is spot on.

My sticking point is that for ordinary users, the support inbox buries you the moment you stop checking daily.

The pattern I keep seeing is that for the broad user base, local activity levels tends to decide how long a conversation lasts for ordinary users.

Has anyone compared the two directly outside wherever you happen to live?

Something worth knowing: nothing changes match quality as much as the willingness to suggest meeting early.

Has anyone got numbers rather than impressions where narrowing the options is concerned?

Broadly, the willingness to suggest meeting early has a bigger effect on whether anything reaches a first meeting than the number of photos you upload, though I would want more than my own experience before calling it a rule.

The recurring problem is that the account activity indicator collapses once you move outside a major city, which is the real problem with apps that do not charge.

Has that changed since the last update outside wherever you happen to live?

Seconding this — @DrewS, the profile-quality point deserves more attention than it gets.

What nobody mentions is that the discovery feed shows the same faces on a loop, which is the real problem with apps that do not charge.

As far as I can tell, the gap between how narrow your filters are and the app's overall download figures is where the proportion of real accounts you see is actually decided.

Rewriting the opener made the whole thing feel less like admin, which surprised me for the broad user base.

Worth testing rather than taking my word where narrowing the options is concerned.
