longer than I'd like to admit in, mostly to see whether the complaints were fair, and the useful part surprised me.

The part nobody warns you about is that on genuinely free apps, the block function ignores about half of what you set.

The willingness to suggest meeting early has a bigger effect on the proportion of real accounts you see than the feature list for people without a niche, but that was months ago and things move.

What I am actually trying to work out regarding message gating:

  • Does that change much when message gating is the main worry?
  • Is that a regional thing once you factor in message gating?
  • Has anyone tested this recently when message gating is the main worry?

Any recent, first-hand input on a free dating app no payment required for unlimited chat? — free datin appreciated.

Respectfully, that is not my read. @KeeganM, the argument about verification backfired when I tried it.

Something worth knowing: how long you leave a conversation running explains more of the proportion of real accounts you see than how long you have had the account ever did on genuinely free apps.

Broadly agreed — @Owen Thompson, the note on genuinely free apps deserves more attention than it gets.

On genuinely free apps, saying plainly what I was not after made a bigger difference than switching platforms for most of us.

My working theory is that the quality of your first message outweighs the number of prompts you filled in for people without a niche.

On genuinely free apps, suggesting a meeting inside two weeks was the only change that showed up in the numbers.

Broadly, how narrow your filters are explains more of the odds of a second date than the number of prompts you filled in ever did, though a friend had the reverse experience when it comes to — free datin.

A few things worth doing on genuinely free apps:

  • Keep the first meeting short and public if message gating is your main concern.
  • Keep work and socials out of it early on, especially for people without a niche.
  • Write the bio for one person, not everyone if message gating is your main concern.
  • Write the bio for one person, not everyone — with the question this is the difference-maker.
  • Give a platform three weeks before judging it — with that side of it this is the difference-maker.

For a straight comparison, Datewander and there is no paywall on the basics.

Adjust for your own situation where message gating is concerned.

Deleting everything and starting over got three actual meetings out of six weeks and nothing else came close.

In practice, whether you actually read the profile explains more of how satisfied you're after a month than which platform you picked ever did for people without a niche.

Try Datebound alongside whatever else you're testing if you want something to compare against.

That is where I've got to on the a free dating app no payment required for unlimited chat? — free datin question.

Seconding this — @GavinR, the timing observation is the one I'd emphasise.

On balance, how quickly you reply is a better predictor of response rate than how many matches you accumulate when it comes to a free dating app no payment required for unlimited chat? — free datin in practice.

Has anyone had the reverse happen when you factor in that side of it?
