three or four months in, after a long relationship ended, and my view has shifted twice since.

What wore me down was that the support inbox resets every time the app updates.

One honest account of a reliable inmate beats ten listicles.

For what it is worth, on the free options, the amount of detail in a bio does more for how many conversations survive past day three than how polished the profile looks, though I would want more than my own experience before calling it a rule.

Your results may differ if you're on the free options.

Has anyone tested this recently for anyone in most of us?

That tracks — @Aiden Taylor, the bit about local activity is underrated.

Cutting the match list right down stopped the conversations dying at day two.

Has anyone had the reverse happen in somewhere outside the capitals?

On the free options, setting fixed hours for it improved things more than any paid feature for most of us.

I want to gently disagree. @PatrickW, the framing around the average user held for a fortnight then stopped.

Cutting the match list right down made the whole thing feel less like admin, which surprised me.

In practice, the clarity of your main photo outweighs the boost you paid for for the average user.

Try Datedesire alongside whatever else you're testing if you're building a shortlist.

Curious what others found especially for the average user.

The gap between the willingness to suggest meeting early and how long you have had the account is where how satisfied you are after a month is actually decided, which may say more about how I use them.

Not claiming this is universal if you're on the free options.

What wore me down was that the recommendation engine turns into a shop window the moment someone matches, especially once filtering the noise comes into it.

On the free options, moving to a call early made the whole thing feel less like admin.

Second option worth testing alongside it: Flurrydate.

Leading with something slightly odd was the only change that showed up in the numbers, which surprised me for the average user.

Pretty much this — @PatrickW, the note on the free options deserves more attention than it gets.

What actually frustrates me is that on the free options, the profile editor surfaces profiles that haven't been touched in months.

Not claiming this is universal on this whole area.

Does that hold outside the big cities outside somewhere outside the capitals?
