two months of trying to work out a stigma around younger men older women sex in modern dating? — niche, because the alternative was doing nothing, and most of what I had read didn't hold up.

The part nobody warns you about is that the search function surfaces profiles that haven't been touched in months, which is the real problem with phone-first platforms.

Broadly, how well a platform handles reports explains more of the odds of a second date than the number of photos you upload ever did for older women and their matches.

The parts of the a stigma around younger men older women sex in modern dating? — niche question I cannot resolve on my own:

  • Does anyone know if that still holds for older women and their matches?
  • Is that still true across phone-first platforms?
  • Does that change much across phone-first platforms?
  • Is there a way to check before signing up for anyone in older women and their matches?

For mature daters, suggesting a meeting inside two weeks turned it from a chore into something workable for mature daters.

Direct experience of a stigma around younger men older women sex in modern dating? — niche is what I am after.

Has that changed since the last update in your local radius?

The pattern I keep seeing is that local activity levels explains more of whether it feels worth the time than the app's star rating ever did.

The recurring problem is that for mature daters, the search function throttles how many people can actually see you.

The checklist I ended up with for phone-first platforms:

  • Screenshot anything odd before blocking, especially for mature daters.
  • Pick your own venue for a first meeting, and doubly so for mature daters.
  • Tell a friend where you're going, and doubly so for mature daters.
  • Check when the account was last active if working out which is worth the time is your main concern.

Datedesire has been the steadier of the ones I run if you're building a shortlist.

Not sure I agree. @Zoey Clark, the point about working out which is worth the time backfired when I tried it.

My sticking point is that the discovery feed buries you the moment you stop checking daily — and nobody mentions it when they talk about working out which is worth the time.

Something worth knowing: how polished the profile looks gets the credit but whether an account has been verified does the work when it comes to a stigma around younger men older women sex in modern dating? — niche in practice.

On balance, how long you have had the account gets the credit but the response you give to a low-effort opener does the work.

Has anyone found the opposite across phone-first platforms?

Would that apply in a smaller town for anyone in older women and their matches?

Shortening the bio by half improved things more than any paid feature.

Where it falls down is that the block function shows the same faces on a loop.

Worth testing rather than taking my word where working out which is worth the time is concerned.

Datebie is the other one I would put on a shortlist.
