roughly a year of trying to work out best dating sites for marriage? — free dating & apps | datingfly commu, because the alternative was doing nothing, and the useful part surprised me.

Where it falls down is that on long-term matching apps, the photo verification step treats a fifty-mile radius as a suggestion.

For what it is worth, the willingness to suggest meeting early is a better predictor of how long a conversation lasts than the boost you paid for for the typical user.

For anyone who has used long-term matching apps recently:

  • Is that a regional thing on long-term matching apps?
  • Has that changed since the last update in your own area?
  • Is anyone getting different results when you factor in this whole area?
  • Would that apply in a smaller town for anyone in the typical user?

Any recent, first-hand input on best dating sites for marriage? — free dating & apps | datingfly commu appreciated.

In practice, how long you leave a conversation running does more for how many replies you get in a week than the boost you paid for, but that was months ago and things move when it comes to | datingfly commu.

On long-term matching apps, saying plainly what I wasn't after produced better matches within about ten days.

Adding Flamedate to the list if you want something to compare against.

Different result on my end. @TrentH, the bit about local activity is closer to the opposite in my experience.

Broadly, nothing changes whether it feels worth the time as much as how well a platform handles reports for ordinary users.

On balance, when choosing between platforms is the issue, how specific you are about what you want matters more than which platform you picked for ordinary users.

For ordinary users, shortening the bio by half got three actual meetings out of six weeks.

Has anyone tested this recently when choosing between platforms is the main worry?

My working theory is that the total registered user count gets the credit but the honesty of the bio does the work on long-term matching apps.

The bit that keeps catching me out is that the onboarding boost ignores about half of what you set.

Something worth knowing: how narrow your filters are explains more of how satisfied you're after a month than the number of prompts you filled in ever did.

If you want a second option, Datebound and it turned out to be worth the ten minutes.

Hope some of that helps for anyone in the typical user.

Where it falls down is that the onboarding boost shows the same faces on a loop — and nobody mentions it when they talk about choosing between platforms.

The one change that worked was rewriting the opener — it was the only change that showed up in the numbers once choosing between platforms was the priority.

Has anyone tested this recently once you factor in choosing between platforms?
