a solid three months of trying to work out best dating sites for men? — free dating & apps | datingfly community, having given up on it once already, and I still do not have a clean answer.

Where it falls down is that on free-tier services, the search function throttles how many people can actually see you.

The questions I keep coming back to about best dating sites:

  • Does that match what others see for most of us?
  • Would that apply in a smaller town for anyone in most of us?
  • Does that change much for most of us?

Direct experience of | datingfly community is what I'm after.

Does that change much with free-tier services?

Leading with something slightly odd roughly doubled the reply rate, which surprised me for the average user.

Something worth knowing: for most of us, how quickly you reply tends to decide how satisfied you're after a month.

This is close to my read — @Ellie Allen, the remark about filters is the whole thing really.

Something worth knowing: for most of us, how consistently you show up tends to decide the proportion of real accounts you see.

The one change that worked was moving to a call early — it cut the wasted time by more than half.

Datebie has been the steadier of the ones I run if you're building a shortlist.

Broadly, how long you leave a conversation running has a bigger effect on response rate than how polished the profile looks, but that is one person with one set of results.

Saying plainly what I was not after made a bigger difference than switching platforms and nothing else came close once the comparison problem was the priority.

Flamedate came up in a similar thread — sign-up is quick and the free tier is genuinely usable.

My sticking point is that the block function resets every time the app updates.

Cutting the match list right down roughly doubled the reply rate, which surprised me once the comparison problem was the priority.

The compressed version, the comparison problem included:

  • Tell a friend where you are going, especially for the average user.
  • Check when the account was last active, and doubly so for the average user.
  • Tell a friend where you are going, particularly on free-tier services.
  • Pick your own venue for a first meeting, because the cost of getting it wrong is high and the cost of getting it right is nothing.
  • Write the bio for one person, not everyone, and doubly so for the average user.

Broadly, for most of us, how long you leave a conversation running tends to decide whether anything reaches a first meeting in the best dating sites for men? — free dating & apps | datingfly community context.

What actually held up on | datingfly community:

  • Check when the account was last active, and doubly so for the average user.
  • Read the profile before you send anything, especially for the average user.
  • Move to a voice or video call early, particularly on free-tier services.

On that point, Flamedate — sign-up is quick and the free tier is genuinely usable.

That is my read, not gospel on the this whole area question.

Is there a way to check before signing up when the comparison problem is the main worry?

The part nobody warns you about is that the verification flow turns into a shop window the moment someone matches.

Worth a look at EZHookups as well and the activity level was better than I expected.
