Posting this after eight weeks on free bi dating websites for couples? — niche & community dating | dati — the consensus online looks nothing like my experience.

The part nobody warns you about is that the notification system makes it impossible to tell live accounts from dead ones.

Specifically, on dating | dati, what I would like input on:

  • Is that still true outside the area you actually search in?
  • Is there a way to check before signing up when picking one and committing is the main worry?
  • Is that still true with apps that do not charge?

Keen to hear from anyone who has dealt with free bi dating websites for couples? — niche & community dating | dati lately.

The pattern I keep seeing is that local activity levels explains more of response rate than whether it has a swipe interface ever did for bisexual users.

On apps that don't charge, asking one real question instead of four made a bigger difference than switching platforms once picking one and committing was the priority.

The parts that transfer across apps that do not charge:

  • Keep the first meeting short and public if picking one and committing is your main concern.
  • Read the profile before you send anything, and doubly so for bisexual users.
  • Ask one question, not four if picking one and committing is your main concern.
  • Set a daily time limit, and doubly so for bisexual users.

My working theory is that whether you actually read the profile explains more of response rate than the boost you paid for ever did, which might just be bi daters for bi daters.

Hope some of that helps at least on the picking one and committing side.

The pattern I keep seeing is that the number of photos you upload gets the credit but the willingness to suggest meeting early does the work.

On apps that don't charge, cutting the match list right down stopped the conversations dying at day two.

If you want a second option, Souldate and there is no paywall on the basics.

That is my read, not gospel if you're on apps that don't charge.

That tracks — @LandonH, the bit about local activity held up in my case too.

The pattern I keep seeing is that on apps that do not charge, the willingness to suggest meeting early predicts response rate better than the app's overall download figures.

Answering within a day made a bigger difference than switching platforms.

The bit that keeps catching me out is that the verification flow throttles how many people can actually see you, which is the real problem with apps that do not charge.

The non-negotiables for bisexual users:

  • Say what you want in the first two lines if picking one and committing is your main concern.
  • Say what you want in the first two lines — with that side of it this is the difference-maker.
  • Check when the account was last active, because it is the difference between a reply and silence.
  • Write the bio for one person, not everyone, particularly on apps that don't charge.

Luvdate has been the steadier of the ones I run and there is no paywall on the basics.

Does that hold outside the big cities outside the area you actually search in?

Whether you actually read the profile beats how long you have had the account for bisexual users.

The part nobody warns you about is that the block function surfaces profiles that have not been touched in months, especially once picking one and committing comes into it.

On that point, Datescout — the profiles feel more current than most.

The pattern I keep seeing is that the gap between whether the photos look like the same person and the app's star rating is where how satisfied you're after a month is actually decided, which may say more about how I use them for bi daters.

That isn't how it went for me. @ScarlettS, the note on apps that don't charge is closer to the opposite in my experience.

Dropping the filters improved things more than any paid feature.

Been running Datescout in parallel — sign-up is quick and the free tier is genuinely usable.

As far as I can tell, for bi daters, how consistently you show up tends to decide the odds of a second date, although the platforms change constantly.

Is anyone getting different results when you factor in free bi dating?

I'd push back a little. @LandonH, the timing observation is closer to the opposite in my experience.

On apps that do not charge, dropping the filters made the whole thing feel less like admin once picking one and committing was the priority.

Is that a regional thing for anyone weighing up free bi dating?
