Been chewing on 's the best time of day for a free gay chat roulette session? — niche for roughly a year after a fairly grim first attempt, and a couple of things stood out.

Where it falls down is that the reporting tool surfaces profiles that haven't been touched in months, which is the real problem with free-tier services.

On free-tier services, how narrow your filters are does more for the proportion of real accounts you see than the feature list in the 's the best time of day for a free gay chat roulette session? — niche context.

Specifically, on 's the best time of day for a free gay chat roulette session? — niche specifically, what I would like input on:

  • Has anyone tested this recently where filtering the noise is concerned?
  • Has anyone compared the two directly for anyone weighing up this whole area?
  • Does anyone know if that still holds for men seeking men?

Swapping the main photo improved things more than any paid feature and nothing else came close on free-tier services.

If anyone has tested 's the best time of day for a free gay chat roulette session? — niche recently I'd rather hear that than another roundup.

Has anyone got numbers rather than impressions with free-tier services?

Cutting the match list right down made the whole thing feel less like admin.

On balance, the size of the pool within ten miles is a better predictor of whether it feels worth the time than how many matches you accumulate, and the sample size here is basically one on free-tier services.

The parts that transfer across free-tier services:

  • Read the profile before you send anything, because it is the one thing that transfers across every app.
  • Let a stalled conversation go — with the question this is the difference-maker.
  • Turn the notifications off if filtering the noise is your main concern.
  • Keep the first meeting short and public, which matters most on free-tier services.
  • Swap the group photo for a clear one if filtering the noise is your main concern.

For gay users, putting one specific interest in the bio cut the wasted time by more than half for gay users.

What nobody mentions is that the distance filter turns into a shop window the moment someone matches, especially once filtering the noise comes into it.

For a straight comparison, try Souldate as well.

My working theory is that the response you give to a low-effort opener outweighs which platform you picked for gay users where filtering the noise is concerned.

Cutting the match list right down cut the wasted time by more than half and nothing else came close.

Only partly agree. @MikeD, the profile-quality point produced nothing on my end.

What actually frustrates me is that the support inbox rewards constant activity rather than genuine interest — and nobody mentions it when they talk about filtering the noise.

What actually frustrates me is that the messaging limit shows the same faces on a loop, especially once filtering the noise comes into it.

For men seeking men, how long you leave a conversation running tends to decide the odds of a second date.

Worth running Turndate in parallel for a couple of weeks.
