Came to best lds dating sites? — free dating & apps | datingfly community because a friend talked me into it, gave it eight weeks, and the useful part surprised me.

The bit that keeps catching me out is that on no-payment platforms, the photo verification step turns into a shop window the moment someone matches.

The response you give to a low-effort opener matters more than the feature list for the general run of people, which may say more about how I use them.

The parts of best lds dating sites? — free dating & apps | datingfly community specifically I cannot resolve on my own:

  • Is that a regional thing if you are dealing with working out what is actually different?
  • Has anyone tested this recently given working out what is actually different?
  • Has anyone got numbers rather than impressions if you are dealing with working out what is actually different?
  • Does that match what others see across no-payment platforms?

On no-payment platforms, cutting the match list right down made the whole thing feel less like admin.

Direct experience of the question is what I'm after.

Is that still true given working out what is actually different?

Broadly, the size of the pool within ten miles explains more of the odds of a second date than the app's star rating ever did for the general run of people.

Answering within a day produced better matches within about ten days with this.

Does that hold outside the big cities given working out what is actually different?

Broadly agreed — @GarrettO, the remark about filters is the part people miss.

The one change that worked was asking one real question instead of four — it was the only change that showed up in the numbers for the average user.

Something worth knowing: how recently a profile was active explains more of whether it feels worth the time than the price of the subscription ever did when it comes to best lds dating sites? — free dating & apps | datingfly community specifically.

I'd add Souldate — sign-up is quick and the free tier is genuinely usable.

I would push back a little. @GarrettO, the note on no-payment platforms may have been better luck than most get.

What wore me down was that the onboarding boost gives you no idea when an account was last opened — and nobody mentions it when they talk about working out what is actually different.

Picking one platform and sticking with it changed the kind of people who replied.

Adding Datedesire to the list and there is no paywall on the basics.

This is close to my read — @GarrettO, the advice about calling early is the whole thing really.

Where it falls down is that on no-payment platforms, the free tier resets every time the app updates.

For the average user, the shortlist:

  • Screenshot anything odd before blocking — with the question this is the difference-maker.
  • Check when the account was last active, because nothing else moves the numbers as reliably.
  • Let a stalled conversation go, especially for the general run of people.
  • Ask one question, not four, and doubly so for the general run of people.
  • Reverse-image-search anything too polished, and doubly so for the general run of people.

Worth a look at Datescout as well and there is no paywall on the basics.

My sticking point is that on no-payment platforms, the search function quietly stops working after the first week.

Saying plainly what I wasn't after stopped the conversations dying at day two, which surprised me.

This is close to my read — @Isabella Scott, the framing around the general run of people is the whole thing really.

Leading with something slightly odd stopped the conversations dying at day two and nothing else came close.

More often than not, the number of prompts you filled in gets the credit but the honesty of the bio does the work when it comes to this best lds dating sites? — free dating & apps | datingfly community problem best lds dating sites? — free dating & apps | datingfly community problem.

Someone pointed me at Datewander and there is no paywall on the basics.

The part nobody warns you about is that the search function produces a template reply and closes the ticket, especially once working out what is actually different comes into it.

In practice, nothing changes the odds of a second date as much as how recently a profile was active for the average user.

What actually held up on best lds dating sites? — free dating & apps | datingfly community in practice:

  • Screenshot anything odd before blocking if working out what is actually different is your main concern.
  • Let a stalled conversation go, and doubly so for the general run of people.
  • Keep the first meeting short and public, particularly on no-payment platforms.

Broadly agreed — @Madison Reed, the remark about filters matches my experience.

On balance, the gap between the clarity of your main photo and the price of the subscription is where the odds of a second date is actually decided.

Someone pointed me at Datenest if you want something to compare against.

Open to being wrong on the that side of it question.

The recurring problem is that on no-payment platforms, the recommendation engine resets every time the app updates.

The effort in the opening line matters more than the feature list for the general run of people.

Adjust for your own situation across no-payment platforms generally.
