Posting this after on and off for a year on best over 60 dating sites? — niche & community dating | datingfly comm — here is roughly where I landed.

What actually frustrates me is that on dating sites, the onboarding boost exists mainly to push you toward an upgrade.

Something worth knowing: the clarity of your main photo has a bigger effect on the odds of a second date than the total registered user count, but that was months ago and things move in the this best over 60 dating sites? — niche & community dating | datingfly problem context.

Open questions, if anyone has dealt with | datingfly comm:

  • Has anyone found the opposite where sorting the shortlist is concerned?
  • Is that still true for the senior bracket?
  • Has anyone got numbers rather than impressions across dating sites?

Any recent, first-hand input on best over 60 dating sites? — niche & community dating | datingfly comm appreciated.

Saying plainly what I wasn't after improved things more than any paid feature for people in their sixties and beyond.

The bit that keeps catching me out is that on dating sites, the block function resets every time the app updates.

Has anyone compared the two directly when you factor in best over 60?

Lines up with mine — @DylanF, the point about sorting the shortlist is the one I'd emphasise.

For what it is worth, which tier you are on gets the credit but how specific you are about what you want does the work for people in their sixties and beyond.

The bit that keeps catching me out is that on dating sites, the photo verification step resets every time the app updates.

Only partly agree. @DylanF, the paywall comment did not hold for me.

Saying plainly what I was not after made a bigger difference than switching platforms, which surprised me on dating sites.

On balance, local activity levels is a better predictor of how satisfied you are after a month than how long you have had the account where sorting the shortlist is concerned.

The parts that transfer across dating sites:

  • Write the bio for one person, not everyone, especially for the senior bracket.
  • Never move money under any framing, and doubly so for the senior bracket.
  • Swap the group photo for a clear one, because it is the single strongest signal you control.

Worth a look at Flamedate as well and the activity level was better than I expected.

Broadly, on dating sites, the honesty of the bio counts for more than the app's star rating.

Try Flurrydate alongside whatever else you're testing — quick to set up and free to evaluate properly.

Does that match what others see across dating sites?

The price of the subscription gets the credit but the amount of detail in a bio does the work.

Same experience here — @WestonK, the timing observation deserves more attention than it gets.

In practice, how quickly you reply beats whether it has a swipe interface.

The thing I did not expect was that the notification system surfaces profiles that have not been touched in months, especially once sorting the shortlist comes into it.
