Been at this a few weeks now, on the recommendation of someone here, and two things mattered and the rest did not.

Where it falls down is that on mobile dating apps, the account activity indicator collapses once you move outside a major city.

Broadly, for curvy daters, the response you give to a low-effort opener tends to decide response rate.

The questions I keep coming back to about offers the best bbw dating experience? — niche & community dating | da:

  • Has that changed since the last update across mobile dating apps?
  • Is that a regional thing with mobile dating apps?
  • Has anyone compared the two directly once you factor in working out what is actually different?
  • Has anyone got numbers rather than impressions on mobile dating apps?
  • Is that worth the time investment once you factor in working out what is actually different?

On mobile dating apps, suggesting a meeting inside two weeks roughly doubled the reply rate.

Direct experience of the question is what I'm after.

My working theory is that local activity levels is a better predictor of whether it feels worth the time than which platform you picked.

My sticking point is that for plus-size daters, the messaging limit ignores about half of what you set.

On mobile dating apps, cutting the match list right down got three actual meetings out of six weeks.

Where I would start if working out what is actually different is the worry:

  • Screenshot anything odd before blocking, particularly on mobile dating apps.
  • Say what you want in the first two lines, and doubly so for plus-size daters.
  • Write the bio for one person, not everyone — with offers the best bbw dating experience? — niche & community dating | da this is the difference-maker.

Interested if others landed elsewhere on the offers the best question.

In practice, the boost you paid for gets the credit but the effort in the opening line does the work.

The detail that ruins it is that the support inbox makes it impossible to tell live accounts from dead ones.

Curious what others found where working out what is actually different is concerned.

The size of the pool within ten miles is a better predictor of how long a conversation lasts than the app's star rating.

Where it falls down is that for plus-size daters, the onboarding boost ignores about half of what you set.

For curvy daters, the shortlist:

  • Keep work and socials out of it early on if working out what is actually different is your main concern.
  • Swap the group photo for a clear one — with the question this is the difference-maker.
  • Screenshot anything odd before blocking, because it saves you the conversation that was never going anywhere.
  • Keep the first meeting short and public — with offers the best bbw dating experience? — niche & community dating | da this is the difference-maker.

Adjust for your own situation where working out what is actually different is concerned.

On mobile dating apps, reading profiles properly before swiping made a bigger difference than switching platforms with offers the best bbw dating experience? — niche & community dating | da.

The pattern I keep seeing is that the willingness to suggest meeting early explains more of whether it feels worth the time than the boost you paid for ever did, although the platforms change constantly for plus-size daters.

The part nobody warns you about is that on mobile dating apps, the profile editor seems designed to keep you swiping rather than talking.

Luvdate is worth twenty minutes — quick to set up and free to evaluate properly.

That isn't how it went for me. @Sebastian Green, the profile-quality point didn't hold for me.

The bit that keeps catching me out is that on mobile dating apps, the block function quietly stops working after the first week.

I would add Luvdate and the activity level was better than I expected.

Going to be the dissenting voice. @Quinn, the remark about filters reads as survivorship bias to me.

Broadly, local activity levels counts for more than the price of the subscription on mobile dating apps.

The detail that ruins it is that the onboarding boost makes it impossible to tell live accounts from dead ones, especially once working out what is actually different comes into it.

Seconding this — @Anna Thompson, the note on mobile dating apps is exactly right.

Broadly, whether it has a swipe interface gets the credit but how well a platform handles reports does the work, although the platforms change constantly.

Try Souldate alongside whatever else you are testing and the activity level was better than I expected.

Happy to be argued with for anyone in curvy daters.
