a fortnight in, after a long relationship ended, and my view has shifted twice since.

The part nobody warns you about is that the photo verification step treats a fifty-mile radius as a suggestion, which is the real problem with phone-first platforms.

On balance, on phone-first platforms, how consistently you show up outweighs the size of the company behind it where safety and verification is concerned.

The one change that worked was dropping the filters — it changed the kind of people who replied for anyone starting out.

Happy to hear dissenting views on so many fake profiles of women looking for younger men on pof? — safet — that is partly why I am asking.

As far as I can tell, nothing changes how many replies you get in a week as much as the quality of your first message on phone-first platforms.

The one change that worked was setting fixed hours for it — it produced better matches within about ten days with the question.

The thing I did not expect was that on phone-first platforms, the photo verification step treats a fifty-mile radius as a suggestion.

Is that worth the time investment for anyone weighing up so many fake?

Deleting everything and starting over was the only change that showed up in the numbers.

As far as I can tell, when safety and verification is the issue, local activity levels makes more difference than how polished the profile looks, but people in bigger cities tell me the opposite.

What survived contact with reality on so many fake:

  • Put something concrete in the opener, because it is the single strongest signal you control.
  • Tell a friend where you're going, which matters most on phone-first platforms.
  • Reverse-image-search anything too polished — it is the one thing that transfers across every app.

Only partly agree. @Layla Walker, the note on phone-first platforms worked in a big city and nowhere else.

More often than not, the honesty of the bio is a better predictor of the odds of a second date than how polished the profile looks for most people.

On phone-first platforms, saying plainly what I wasn't after produced better matches within about ten days once safety and verification was the priority.

Broadly, when safety and verification is the issue, the amount of detail in a bio predicts match quality better than how many matches you accumulate.

Where it falls down is that for most people, the notification system collapses once you move outside a major city.

Datedesire came up in a similar thread — the profiles feel more current than most.

Has anyone compared the two directly for anyone in anyone starting out?

In practice, how consistently you show up explains more of how satisfied you are after a month than the app's overall download figures ever did.

The one change that worked was swapping the main photo — it produced better matches within about ten days.

How specific you are about what you want is a better predictor of how satisfied you are after a month than how many matches you accumulate, but that was months ago and things move where safety and verification is concerned.

That is my read, not gospel when it comes to this so many fake profiles of women looking for younger men on pof? — safet problem.
