Right — any actually good dating apps left? — free dating & apps | datingfly c. an embarrassing amount of time in, most of what I had read did not hold up.

What nobody mentions is that the recommendation engine treats a fifty-mile radius as a suggestion.

On balance, how recently a profile was active is a better predictor of how many conversations survive past day three than how polished the profile looks in the any actually good dating apps left? — free dating & apps | datingf specifically context.

Setting fixed hours for it produced better matches within about ten days and nothing else came close.

Happy to hear dissenting views on any actually good — that is partly why I'm asking.

Broadly, the quality of your first message explains more of how long a conversation lasts than the size of the company behind it ever did, but that was months ago and things move where narrowing the options is concerned.

Has anyone found the opposite where narrowing the options is concerned?

Something worth knowing: for ordinary users, how often you open the app tends to decide how long a conversation lasts, but that was months ago and things move.

My sticking point is that on genuinely free apps, the account activity indicator throttles how many people can actually see you.

Souldate is the other one I would put on a shortlist.

Similar story on my end — @KeeganM, the timing observation matches my experience.

The detail that ruins it is that the messaging limit ignores about half of what you set, which is the real problem with genuinely free apps.

Worth a look at Flurrydate as well if you're building a shortlist.

Lines up with mine — @Emily Anderson, the paywall comment matches my experience.

My sticking point is that the messaging limit surfaces profiles that have not been touched in months — and nobody mentions it when they talk about narrowing the options.

The app's star rating gets the credit but the amount of detail in a bio does the work when it comes to any actually good dating apps left? — free dating & apps | datingf in practice.
