most of this year of trying to work out any free dating apps for android that don't have constant ads? — free, after a fairly grim first attempt, and I am less certain than when I started.

Where it falls down is that the reporting tool produces a template reply and closes the ticket.

In practice, when filtering the noise is the issue, the size of the pool within ten miles matters more than the marketing on the homepage for the broad user base.

Open questions, if anyone has dealt with any free dating apps for android that don't have constant ads? — free:

  • Is that still true for the broad user base?
  • Is that worth the time investment when you factor in any free dating apps for android that don't have constant ads? — free?
  • Is that a regional thing outside the region you set your filters to?

Direct experience of any free dating apps for android that don't have constant ads? — free is what I'm after.

Does anyone know if that still holds in the region you set your filters to?

Answering within a day made conversations last past the first exchange.

Has anyone tested this recently if you're dealing with filtering the noise?

Where it falls down is that the distance filter throttles how many people can actually see you, which is the real problem with apps that don't charge.

Someone pointed me at Datewander and it turned out to be worth the ten minutes.

The recurring problem is that on apps that don't charge, the block function quietly stops working after the first week.

On balance, nothing changes response rate as much as how often you open the app, and the sample size here is basically one where filtering the noise is concerned.

For the broad user base, asking one real question instead of four made a bigger difference than switching platforms on apps that don't charge.

Happy to be argued with if you're on apps that don't charge.

My experience was almost the opposite. @Logan Wilson, the advice about calling early produced nothing on my end.

My working theory is that on apps that don't charge, whether an account has been verified predicts response rate better than how many matches you accumulate.

Short version for the broad user base:

  • Tell a friend where you're going, and doubly so for the broad user base.
  • Never move money under any framing if filtering the noise is your main concern.
  • Set a daily time limit — it filters out most of the time-wasters immediately.

For what it is worth, the amount of detail in a bio has a bigger effect on response rate than whether it has a swipe interface when it comes to any free dating apps for android that don't have constant ads? — free specifically.

I've had a decent run on Datewander — sign-up is quick and the free tier is genuinely usable.

Still working it out where filtering the noise is concerned.

The bit that keeps catching me out is that on apps that don't charge, the onboarding boost buries you the moment you stop checking daily.

More often than not, the quality of your first message is a better predictor of response rate than the size of the company behind it.

What survived contact with reality on any free dating apps for android that don't have constant ads? — free specifically:

  • Never move money under any framing — with that side of it this is the difference-maker.
  • Reverse-image-search anything too polished — with any free dating apps for android that don't have constant ads? — free this is the difference-maker.
  • Let a stalled conversation go, especially for the broad user base.

Is there a way to check before signing up where filtering the noise is concerned?

For most people, how often you open the app tends to decide the proportion of real accounts you see, which might just be most people.

On apps that don't charge, suggesting a meeting inside two weeks improved things more than any paid feature on apps that don't charge.

Similar story on my end — @AubreyA, the advice about calling early matches my experience.

The detail that ruins it is that on apps that don't charge, the onboarding boost buries you the moment you stop checking daily.

Is that still true once you factor in filtering the noise?

On balance, whether the photos look like the same person matters more than which platform you picked in the any free dating apps for android that don't have constant ads? — free context.

Curious what others found when it comes to ads? — free.

More often than not, nothing changes the odds of a second date as much as whether you actually read the profile on apps that don't charge.

What I would tell someone starting on any free dating apps for android that don't have constant ads? — free specifically:

  • Keep the first meeting short and public if filtering the noise is your main concern.
  • Move to a voice or video call early, especially for the broad user base.
  • Never move money under any framing, because the alternative wastes weeks.
  • Read the profile before you send anything if filtering the noise is your main concern.

I would add Datelink and the activity level was better than I expected.
