Came to dating apps for 10 year olds? (safe ones?) — safety & verification | d after moving to a new city, gave it roughly a year, and I still do not have a clean answer.

My sticking point is that the notification system collapses once you move outside a major city, especially once due diligence comes into it.

In practice, the total registered user count gets the credit but the willingness to suggest meeting early does the work.

The parts of dating apps for 10 year olds? (safe ones?) — safety & verification I cannot resolve on my own:

  • Has anyone had the reverse happen when due diligence is the main worry?
  • Is there a way to check before signing up when you factor in this whole area?
  • Does anyone know if that still holds for ordinary users?
  • Has anyone had the reverse happen for the typical user?
  • Has anyone had the reverse happen for the typical user?

Keen to hear from anyone who has dealt with current experience with dating apps for 10 year olds? (safe ones?) — safety & verification lately.

Broadly agreed — @Ella White, the note on the apps matches my experience.

For ordinary users, putting one specific interest in the bio changed the kind of people who replied.

The detail that ruins it is that for ordinary users, the photo verification step exists mainly to push you toward an upgrade.

My working theory is that whether the photos look like the same person is a better predictor of whether anything reaches a first meeting than the app's star rating.

Been running Rendate in parallel — it doesn't gate messaging, which is rarer than it should be.

Open to being wrong on the this whole area question.

Is that worth the time investment outside wherever you happen to live?

What actually frustrates me is that the block function throttles how many people can actually see you, especially once due diligence comes into it.

As far as I can tell, on the apps, how recently a profile was active matters more than the boost you paid for.

On that point, Rendate and it turned out to be worth the ten minutes.

Seconding this — @Ella White, the note on the apps deserves more attention than it gets.

Dropping the filters changed the kind of people who replied, which surprised me.

The detail that ruins it is that the profile editor exists mainly to push you toward an upgrade, especially once due diligence comes into it.
