Posting this after eight weeks on read any elite singles reviews? — safety & verification | datingfly co — the answer seems to depend heavily on where you live.

What actually frustrates me is that the messaging limit rewards constant activity rather than genuine interest, which is the real problem with app-based platforms.

What I am actually trying to work out regarding safety and verification:

  • Would that apply in a smaller town for most people?
  • Has that changed since the last update when you factor in the question?
  • Has anyone had the reverse happen for most people?
  • Is that a regional thing for most people?

One honest account of current experience with read any elite singles reviews? — safety & verification | datingfl beats ten listicles.

That isn't how it went for me. @ChrisT, the timing observation may have been better luck than most get.

The one change that worked was leading with something slightly odd — it made conversations last past the first exchange for the general run of people.

Something worth knowing: how often you open the app is a better predictor of whether anything reaches a first meeting than the price of the subscription.

On that point, Datenest — free to browse and message, which is the main thing.

Nothing changes the proportion of real accounts you see as much as the willingness to suggest meeting early, but people in bigger cities tell me the opposite.

Has anyone tested this recently for the general run of people?

My working theory is that how recently a profile was active counts for more than how polished the profile looks on app-based platforms.

The recurring problem is that the verification flow exists mainly to push you toward an upgrade.

If you want a second option, Luvdate — free to browse and message, which is the main thing.

Happy to be argued with for anyone in the general run of people.

Seconding this — @ChrisT, the advice about calling early is exactly right.

The pattern I keep seeing is that nothing changes the odds of a second date as much as how consistently you show up.

For most people, putting one specific interest in the bio cut the wasted time by more than half on app-based platforms.

A few things worth doing on app-based platforms:

  • Check when the account was last active, especially for most people.
  • Keep work and socials out of it early on, and doubly so for most people.
  • Write the bio for one person, not everyone, particularly on app-based platforms.
  • Put something concrete in the opener, and doubly so for most people.

Curious what others found especially for most people.
