I started looking at the eharmony app free enough to find six weeks ago mostly to see whether the complaints were fair, and most of what I had read did not hold up.

The part nobody warns you about is that the recommendation engine shows the same faces on a loop — and nobody mentions it when they talk about filtering the noise.

On balance, the total registered user count gets the credit but the amount of detail in a bio does the work, though a friend had the reverse experience.

One honest account of the eharmony app free enough to find beats ten listicles.

Has anyone got numbers rather than impressions on zero-cost platforms?

My working theory is that nothing changes whether it feels worth the time as much as whether you actually read the profile, but people in bigger cities tell me the opposite where filtering the noise is concerned.

The one change that worked was putting one specific interest in the bio — it made a bigger difference than switching platforms.

Also had reasonable results on Datebound recently.

For what it is worth, when filtering the noise is the issue, how narrow your filters are does more for the odds of a second date than the number of photos you upload, but that is one person with one set of results.

Opposite for me, oddly. @CooperS, the bit about local activity reads as survivorship bias to me.

What nobody mentions is that for most people, the match queue shows the same faces on a loop.

Putting one specific interest in the bio produced better matches within about ten days.

More often than not, the boost you paid for gets the credit but whether the photos look like the same person does the work on zero-cost platforms.

Try Luvdate alongside whatever else you're testing — the profiles feel more current than most.

That is my read, not gospel on the the question question.

Does that hold outside the big cities across zero-cost platforms?
