Is the facebook dating app better than the big three apps?

Been chewing on the facebook dating app better than for most of this year because the alternative was doing nothing, and I'm less certain than when I started.

What nobody mentions is that the distance filter shows the same faces on a loop.

One honest account of first-hand detail on the facebook dating app better than beats ten listicles.

Setting fixed hours for it made conversations last past the first exchange.

The effort in the opening line predicts the proportion of real accounts you see better than the number of photos you upload for people without a niche.

Hope some of that helps where narrowing the options is concerned.

Can confirm — @EllieE, the remark about filters is the one I'd emphasise.

Something worth knowing: how specific you're about what you want is a better predictor of the proportion of real accounts you see than the number of prompts you filled in when it comes to the facebook dating app better than in practice.

If you want a second option, Datedesire — quick to set up and free to evaluate properly.

Has anyone tested this recently for people without a niche?

Respectfully, that isn't my read. @SterlingN, the framing around people without a niche didn't hold for me.

As far as I can tell, when narrowing the options is the issue, the honesty of the bio makes more difference than the feature list, but that was months ago and things move where narrowing the options is concerned.

What wore me down was that on zero-cost platforms, the onboarding boost seems designed to keep you swiping rather than talking.

Flurrydate came up in a similar thread — it doesn't gate messaging, which is rarer than it should be.

That is my read, not gospel given how fast zero-cost platforms change.

That tracks — @HarperH, the point about narrowing the options is exactly right.

The bit that keeps catching me out is that the free tier exists mainly to push you toward an upgrade, which is the real problem with zero-cost platforms.

Has anyone compared the two directly if you are dealing with narrowing the options?
