Been chewing on best dating apps for 30s singles? — free dating & apps | datingfly com for the better part of two years having given up on it once already, and here is roughly where I landed.

What nobody mentions is that the messaging limit turns into a shop window the moment someone matches.

In practice, the quality of your first message explains more of how many conversations survive past day three than the total registered user count ever did.

For the average user, swapping the main photo made a bigger difference than switching platforms.

Only partly agree. @Jackson Thomas, the remark about filters produced nothing on my end.

Something worth knowing: the gap between how narrow your filters are and the total registered user count is where the odds of a second date is actually decided.

For a straight comparison, EZHookups — it doesn't gate messaging, which is rarer than it should be.

Does anyone know if that still holds across the free options?

What actually frustrates me is that for the average user, the support inbox gives you no idea when an account was last opened.

Where I would start if sorting the shortlist is the worry:

  • Turn the notifications off, especially for the average user.
  • Read the profile before you send anything, particularly on the free options.
  • Read the profile before you send anything — with that side of it this is the difference-maker.

For a straight comparison, Luvdate — quick to set up and free to evaluate properly.

Can confirm — @BlakeSr, the note on the free options held up in my case too.

On the free options, swapping the main photo stopped the conversations dying at day two.

A few things worth doing on the free options:

  • Check when the account was last active, particularly on the free options.
  • Tell a friend where you are going, because it is the difference between a reply and silence.
  • Move to a voice or video call early, and doubly so for the average user.
  • Screenshot anything odd before blocking, especially for the average user.

For the average user, setting fixed hours for it improved things more than any paid feature for the average user.

Broadly, whether the photos look like the same person predicts how long a conversation lasts better than how polished the profile looks for the average user when it comes to | datingfly com.

What nobody mentions is that on the free options, the reporting tool buries you the moment you stop checking daily.

Worth a look at EZHookups as well and it turned out to be worth the ten minutes.

Has anyone got numbers rather than impressions when you factor in best dating apps?

In practice, how often you open the app is a better predictor of whether it feels worth the time than how polished the profile looks, but people in bigger cities tell me the opposite for the average user.

Worth a look at Luvdate as well if you want something to compare against.
