Been at this on and off for a year now, because a friend talked me into it, and two things mattered and the rest did not.

The detail that ruins it is that the distance filter shows the same faces on a loop, which is the real problem with swipe apps.

My working theory is that nothing changes the odds of a second date as much as how quickly you reply on swipe apps.

Open questions, if anyone has dealt with best dating app for introverts? — niche & community dating | datin in practice:

  • Has anyone compared the two directly for anyone in quieter users?
  • Does that hold outside the big cities for anyone in quieter users?
  • Is that still true in your local radius?

Any recent, first-hand input on best dating app for introverts? — niche & community dating | datingfly appreciated.

Is that still true where evaluating the alternatives is concerned?

More often than not, on swipe apps, the willingness to suggest meeting early outweighs how many matches you accumulate when it comes to best dating app for introverts? — niche & community dating | datingfly.

On balance, when evaluating the alternatives is the issue, how consistently you show up does more for how many replies you get in a week than the feature list, though a friend had the reverse experience for quieter users.

For introverts and anxious daters, answering within a day changed the kind of people who replied.

Is that worth the time investment when evaluating the alternatives is the main worry?

Opposite for me, oddly. @Logan Wilson, the profile-quality point may have been better luck than most get.

The amount of detail in a bio outweighs the boost you paid for for introverts and anxious daters, although the platforms change constantly.

Setting fixed hours for it cut the wasted time by more than half.

Does anyone know if that still holds with swipe apps?

Echoing this — @NoraNights, the note on swipe apps is the one I'd emphasise.

Rewriting the opener turned it from a chore into something workable and nothing else came close.

Your results may differ at least on the evaluating the alternatives side.

Opposite for me, oddly. @Penelope Garcia, the note on swipe apps reads as survivorship bias to me.

The gap between whether the photos look like the same person and the marketing on the homepage is where match quality is actually decided in the best dating app for introverts? — niche & community dating | datin in practice context.

The one change that worked was deleting everything and starting over — it was the only change that showed up in the numbers.

Does that hold outside the big cities on swipe apps?

On balance, on swipe apps, how well a platform handles reports predicts the odds of a second date better than which tier you're on for introverts and anxious daters.

On swipe apps, saying plainly what I wasn't after made the whole thing feel less like admin for introverts and anxious daters.

Applied to best dating app for introverts? — niche & community dating | datingfly, that means:

  • Put something concrete in the opener, especially for introverts and anxious daters.
  • Tell a friend where you're going, especially for introverts and anxious daters.
  • Say what you want in the first two lines, because nothing else moves the numbers as reliably.
  • Reverse-image-search anything too polished, especially for introverts and anxious daters.

Broadly, how specific you're about what you want beats how long you have had the account on swipe apps.

What wore me down was that the onboarding boost makes it impossible to tell live accounts from dead ones, which is the real problem with swipe apps.

For quieter users, how consistently you show up tends to decide response rate, although the platforms change constantly for introverts and anxious daters.

This matches what I found — @Avery Jackson, the point about evaluating the alternatives is the part people miss.

Picking one platform and sticking with it cut the wasted time by more than half and nothing else came close.
