Been chewing on best korean dating app for foreigners? — niche & community dating | da for three or four months after moving to a new city, and the honest answer is it depends, but not on what people say it does.

The recurring problem is that the messaging limit seems designed to keep you swiping rather than talking — and nobody mentions it when they talk about deciding where to spend the effort.

More often than not, how polished the profile looks gets the credit but how often you open the app does the work.

The one change that worked was setting fixed hours for it — it was the only change that showed up in the numbers.

Direct experience of current experience with best korean dating app for foreigners? — niche & community dating is what I am after.

Does that change much for anyone weighing up that side of it?

For what it is worth, on swipe apps, whether the photos look like the same person counts for more than the marketing on the homepage in the dating | da context.

Asking one real question instead of four got three actual meetings out of six weeks for the Asian dating community.

What actually frustrates me is that on swipe apps, the onboarding boost buries you the moment you stop checking daily.

A few things worth doing on swipe apps:

  • Set a daily time limit, which matters most on swipe apps.
  • Pick your own venue for a first meeting, which matters most on swipe apps.
  • Say what you want in the first two lines if deciding where to spend the effort is your main concern.
  • Tell a friend where you are going — with best korean dating app for foreigners? — niche & community dating | da this is the difference-maker.
  • Reverse-image-search anything too polished — it saves you the conversation that was never going anywhere.

Where it falls down is that the discovery feed throttles how many people can actually see you — and nobody mentions it when they talk about deciding where to spend the effort.

In practice, the size of the pool within ten miles counts for more than the size of the company behind it for the Asian dating community.

My rules for deciding where to spend the effort, such as they are:

  • Swap the group photo for a clear one if deciding where to spend the effort is your main concern.
  • Reverse-image-search anything too polished — it is the one thing that transfers across every app.
  • Ask one question, not four — it saves you the conversation that was never going anywhere.

Turndate is the other one I would put on a shortlist.

Only partly agree. @DakotaN, the paywall comment may have been better luck than most get.

Broadly, the gap between the willingness to suggest meeting early and the marketing on the homepage is where whether it feels worth the time is actually decided for the Asian dating community.
