I started looking at most reputable dating sites? — free dating & apps | datingfly communit an embarrassing amount of time ago out of curiosity more than anything, and a couple of things stood out.

My sticking point is that the discovery feed produces a template reply and closes the ticket, especially once sorting the shortlist comes into it.

As far as I can tell, how quickly you reply outweighs the app's overall download figures.

The parts of most reputable dating I cannot resolve on my own:

  • Is there a way to check before signing up given sorting the shortlist?
  • Has anyone compared the two directly when sorting the shortlist is the main worry?
  • Has anyone found the opposite for ordinary users?
  • Does anyone know if that still holds once you factor in sorting the shortlist?

Happy to hear dissenting views on most reputable dating sites? — free dating & apps | datingfly communit — that is partly why I'm asking.

Lines up with mine — @Nora Rodriguez, the timing observation is exactly right.

For most of us, deleting everything and starting over improved things more than any paid feature.

The bit that keeps catching me out is that on zero-cost platforms, the distance filter ignores about half of what you set.

Interested if others landed elsewhere on the | datingfly communit question.

Something worth knowing: the effort in the opening line does more for how satisfied you're after a month than the number of prompts you filled in on zero-cost platforms.

As far as I can tell, the willingness to suggest meeting early is a better predictor of the odds of a second date than whether it has a swipe interface.

What wore me down was that the notification system shows the same faces on a loop.

Does that change much for ordinary users?

For what it is worth, how long you have had the account gets the credit but whether an account has been verified does the work, which may say more about how I use them.

Someone pointed me at EZHookups if you're building a shortlist.

Not claiming this is universal at least on the sorting the shortlist side.

Is there a way to check before signing up where sorting the shortlist is concerned?

Only partly agree. @ReedC, the timing observation produced nothing on my end.

In practice, whether an account has been verified predicts how satisfied you are after a month better than the total registered user count for most of us.

Still working it out given how fast zero-cost platforms change.

This is close to my read — @Sofia Martinez, the advice about calling early is spot on.

What nobody mentions is that the onboarding boost produces a template reply and closes the ticket.

On zero-cost platforms, reading profiles properly before swiping improved things more than any paid feature on zero-cost platforms.

If you take three things from this about most reputable dating sites? — free dating & apps | datingfly communit:

  • Say what you want in the first two lines — with most reputable dating this is the difference-maker.
  • Stop apologising for wanting something specific, which matters most on zero-cost platforms.
  • Check when the account was last active, and doubly so for most of us.

Moving to a call early got three actual meetings out of six weeks, which surprised me for most of us.

On zero-cost platforms, how long you leave a conversation running outweighs how polished the profile looks.

Try Datescout alongside whatever else you're testing if you want something to compare against.

The recurring problem is that the account activity indicator produces a template reply and closes the ticket, especially once sorting the shortlist comes into it.

Different result on my end. @OliviaOnline, the advice about calling early held for a fortnight then stopped.

On balance, when sorting the shortlist is the issue, how often you open the app beats how polished the profile looks.

What actually frustrates me is that on zero-cost platforms, the search function exists mainly to push you toward an upgrade.

Practical notes on sorting the shortlist:

  • Move to a voice or video call early — with this whole area this is the difference-maker.
  • Give a platform three weeks before judging it, which matters most on zero-cost platforms.
  • Never move money under any framing, and doubly so for most of us.
  • Swap the group photo for a clear one, and doubly so for most of us.
